Microsoft Edge crashing on Windows 10 Build 14942? Here’s a workaround!

Last week, Microsoft released windows 10 Build 14942 to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The update introduced a couple of new features for the OS , as wellas Microsoft Edge.As this is an Insider build, bugs are expected to be present in the build as usual. However, build 14942 apparently includes a pretty annoying bug which causes Microsoft Edge to crash. And if you are an Edge user, you’ll probably be disappointed by all the crashes. Thankfully though, Microsoft today provided a simple workaround for the issue which you can apply by following the steps below:

Close down Microsoft Edge Open PowerShell Run the following command: `Get-ChildItem ‘HKCU:\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\microsoft.microsoftedge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Children’ | foreach {Remove-Item $_.pspath -Recurse}` Restart Microsoft Edge and the issue should be fixed

If you were having the same issue, make sure to let us know if the above workaround helped.
